 Bio: The Envy Corps have always been dedicated to creating the finest in melodic indie rock. Seemingly never satisfied, they constantly are pushing their own creative envelope to create something dynamic and fresh that resonates soundly with their audiences. The Envy Corps have been compared to everything from Radiohead to Pedro the Lion, Bjork to The Flaming Lips, Bedhead to Neutral Milk Hotel and the Verve to Weezer. The Envy Corps pull from their vast musical influences to create memorable pop masterpieces, always featuring distinctive melodies, Pettipoole's haunting falsetto, infectious guitar hooks, ethereal keyboards and their own brand of "dirty hi-fi" production. The Envy Corps' debut album, "Soviet Reunion" was released February 2004. They have shared the stage with such national acts as John Vanderslice, Appleseed Cast, Dressy Bessy and The Mountain Goats.
