Bio:
Keepers of the Carpet are back.

In 2002 Keepers of the Carpet had some success on the College Music Journal (CMJ) charts with their first album (debuting at 82 in the nation) and after two years of silence, KOTC have turned up their amps, tweaked a few adjustments, and are ready to rock again.

Jordan Mayland, (singer/guitarist/pianist/songwriter) who has been studying music at Central College for four years, has taken a more serious approach to songwriting, and though Pop-Rock is their forte, the band has begun to explore some different musical styles and territories by adding some darker tones and a piano at times.

He has joined forces with original KOTC drummer Jason Holland while Rano LoVan (guitars/vocals) and Paul Friemel (bass/vocals) are the newest members of Keepers of the Carpet.

Keepers of the Carpet's music could be compared to the styles of Weezer, Ben Folds Five, and The Beatles, while still maintaining an original formula that will keep audiences interested and entertained.
