Bio:
This three piece indie-pop band emanates an unbridled honesty both lyrically and musically. The members successfully merge indie rock, jazz and pop influences into a cohesive montage of looping, piano-laden music. Vocalist Evelyn Finch's beautifully chaotic voice weaves delicately through a distorted, haunting backdrop. At times, Finch gently whispers, pensively reminiscing before erupting into a cathartic burst of energy, pounding away at her keyboard in an effortless outburst of emotion. Frankenixon has quietly garnered a faithful following across Central Iowa, while enjoying heavy rotation on KURE 88.5. Fearless, and fated to succeed in a blooming underground scene, Frankenixon is preparing to release its second offering chock-full of attitude, offering no apologies along the way.

The long awaited debut full length from Frankenixon takes a moody turn from their first EP. Enjoy this hour of beautiful musical textures.

S/T EP - BFCD011
(10/31/01)
The CD that started it all ... the end of the world, that is.

Sweaty From Your Uselessness 7-inch - BF025
(9/30/03)
Frankenixon's debut on vinyl. This music is a bit of a departure from Depth Perception ... a nice way to tide you over until the next album!

Amorphous - BFCD032
(3/30/04)
The second full length album from Frankenixon is simply complex. Just when you think you've got it figured out, it changes. As if it wasn't enough that you'd never heard of prog-pop, Frankenixon re-defines it.
